How Publisher Works
After creating content in Author, it is published to Document Manager which has built-in workflow for managing and delivering all content.
Various content types not created with Author can easily be imported into Document Manager where they can be managed and made context-sensitive (e.g., PDF, Picture/Video Files, Excel, et al).
End users access the content repository via a web portal. A familiar Explorer folder construct allows users to easily navigate through all of their available Help and training content.
Content is searchable and can be indexed in multiple ways including Job Role, Title, Functional Area, T-Code, File Type, Last Update and Sub-Area.
Those with Administrative rights can monitor: Users, Feedback, Document Status, Test Scores, Approval Status, etc.
