CEO and Board Member
Mike brings over 25 years of operating experience in emerging and large companies, serving as CEO, COO and CFO, in both public and private environments. Mike's emerging company experience includes start-up, growth stage and turnaround in software and data technology (Peminic, Rogers MIS), business services (HTH Worldwide, The Partnership Group), and medical device (Surgical Laser Technologies). His large company experience includes Johnson & Johnson, Ceridian Corp (bought The Partnership Group), and Rogers Communications (owned Rogers MIS then sold to Jobson Healthcare). To date, Mike has helped raise over $100MM in debt, venture, private equity and public offerings associated with these entities.
Mike holds a BA in Marketing from the University of Washington and a MBA in Finance and Organizational Development from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
CAMERON KELLEY
COO/CIO
Cameron has over 20 years of experience in leading technology teams, most recently as a CTO at Peminic, a healthcare enterprise software business. Prior to Peminic, Cameron was the Chief Architect at Ascension Health, the third largest health system in the country, where he was responsible for developing the IT architectural vision, team, methods and standards. Prior to his work at Ascension Health, Cameron was a Principal and healthcare practice leader with eVergance, a professional services organization. Prior to this, he held a variety of technology leadership roles with Accenture, a major consulting firm, leading large development teams primarily in the communications industry. Cameron received an honorable discharge from the US Army following service including Desert Storm and was heavily decorated including three Bronze stars. Cameron holds a MS in Computer Science from the University of Memphis, graduating magna cum laude.
DAVID THORNBURY
Sales and Account Management
David has spent more than 25 years as an award winning salesman or in senior sales leadership positions. He has most recently worked with companies providing interim sales, marketing and leadership expertise through Momentum Advisory Services, a consulting company that he founded in 2008. Previously, David was a VP of Sales for a Customer Experience Management software solution company, Tealeaf, where he grew sales in his region 93%. Prior to that, he was the VP Worldwide Direct and Channel Sales for an enterprise e-mail security solution company, Voltage Security, where he transacted with some of the largest companies in the world including Wal-Mart, The BBC, Lloyds, et al. Before that, David spent over five years with BEA Systems as a Senior Director of Sales leading a team of 15 sales individuals responsible for $37M in revenue, where he earned Achievers Club honors each year and delivered an average OTE of 140%. David holds a BS in Communications/Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
BOB MOORE
Finance and Administration
Bob has 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and auditing with a variety of firms ranging from venture capital-backed start-ups to public companies listed on the NYSE. Bob’s experience includes senior financial roles in the software industry (MortgageRamp.com), the financial services industry (Luminent Mortgage Capital) and most recently the biotechnology industry (Life Sensors, Inc). Bob began his career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse in the Philadelphia office. Bob is a Pennsylvania CPA, earned a BS in Accounting from Drexel University and a MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.
RYAN NORTHINGTON
Board Member and Partner at MVP Capital Partners
Ryan's broad background includes industry and operating experience in software, product marketing, internet/media, retail/consumer and multi-unit business models, healthcare, and aviation services. Ryan was previously the Chief Operating Officer for ShyGenius, Inc., a knowledge management software company. Prior to ShyGenius, Ryan was Vice President, Strategic Alliances and served as head of business development at a global sports media and technology company. Ryan was also previously with Optum, Inc., a supply chain software company where he was the Director of Product Marketing. In that capacity, he was responsible for the strategic direction of Optum's software products and technology. Ryan received his B.A. degree from Davidson College, where he was a four year letterman on the men's soccer team.
ROBERT BROWN, JR.
Board Member and Managing Partner at MVP Capital Partners
Bob has been active in the private equity business for over twenty-five years and was instrumental in the establishment of the private equity/venture capital industry in the Philadelphia region. Prior to MVP, Bob was a principal in a merchant banking firm active in both private equity and investment banking. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen. Following Andersen, he joined join Buckeye Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of The Penn Central Corporation, as a financial analyst. After Buckeye, Bob practiced corporate tax law at the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia. Bob is a graduate of Princeton University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania.
