Stop Being Squeezed Because Your Authoring Tools Can’t Keep Up
How we help Content Creators and their teams:
Are you spending more way too much time obtaining, organizing and developing procedure manuals, guides, course materials, and simulations for your critical applications?
Are the current systems you have in place to monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness too complex, difficult to use, and antiquated?
Do the current products and services you are using to design, plan, and organize your training programs provide you with the necessary tools to get the job done quickly and efficiently?
Use Case: Transportation
A company in the transportation industry needed a practical solution for workforce development. Understanding that the content developers would have to engage in a diverse audience to provide the best possible outcomes with the least expenditure of time while still delivering high value at low cost.
The numbers of content developers on their team were small in number, so they needed a way of multiplying the effort from this group. The company selected Opus because it provided a way to rapidly create training materials leveraging the “record once - create many” approach to content development.
Opus allowed me to produce richer and more effective training materials by giving me more time to research and understand the different needs of the population I am creating content for.
Use Case: Software
A software company needed a way to determine if the content they were creating was being used and if it was effective. Anecdotal reporting was not enough, they needed more accurate information to help reduce the workload of the content development team. That’s when they turned to Opus. Opus provides content developers with a method of allowing the users of content to directly provide feedback to the content developers. Feedback comes in the form of end users comments that are delivered directly to the people responsible for creating the content.
Opus provides Information on what content is most and least being used in the systems. This allows content developers to focus on enhancing the most ‘important’ content as reported by real world usage in order to stop wasting time on content that is not important.
Nothing is more frustrating than spending innumerable hours producing training content that people don’t use. Never getting feedback directly from people using the material I create is not a very satisfying experience either. Now I get direct feedback from the people who are using the content, via the Opus content rating and reporting system.
