Create And Deliver Digital Adoption Content In A Fraction Of The Time
How we help Content Managers and their teams:
Do your knowledge transfer tools cover the entire project lifecycle? From a single recording, Opus produces test scripts, user documentation, simulations, tests, and online help overlays. How much manual effort is required to build content? Unlike other tools, Opus does the heavy lifting to create engaging documentation and online help overlays. Our average document is created in less than 30 minutes.
Do your tools efficiently repurpose content throughout the project lifecycle? No longer do you have separate tools for documentation, simulations, assessments and online help. This reduces both initial development time and content maintenance post go-live.
For a large scale project, how will you manage the content development workflow? Opus provides in-application workflow management throughout the content development lifecycle (record, edit, QA, approve). Through our dynamic dashboards, admins can quickly identify and correct any bottlenecks in the development process, ensuring the project stays on time and on budget.
Do your KT tools require significant IT involvement to deploy and manage?
Use Case: Banking
One of the largest banks in the US recently completed a rollout of a mortgage origination system impacting over 20,000 end users. Previously the bank relied on in-person instructor led training, supported by hardcopy training materials. Due to a compressed training timeline of 3 months and a geographically dispersed audience, they moved to Opus to support the rollout. An initial virtual instructor led training (VILT) was delivered via videoconference and then end users completed the eLearning simulations on their own.
At go-live and post go-live, users were supported by in-application help and guidance that was task-relevant and user-relevant. Satisfaction (Kirkpatrick Level 1) hovered around 70% in the past. For this rollout, end users rated the training at 95%+.
Generating user training content has always been a problem and has outstripped the capacity of our small team but wIth Opus, we were able to deliver the content needed in several modes of blended training. After go-live, users were sustained with Opus Advisor, the in-application component that delivers context-sensitive help in the form of job aids, simulations, process & procedure and related content.
Use Case: Pharmaceuticals
The US division of a global pharma company recently rolled out a sales enablement platform (customized Salesforce). The training team consisted of company SME’s, system integrator consultants (approving content), and onshore+offshore content developers. Previously, Sharepoint was used to manage the development across multiple geographies and timezones.
For this rollout they used Opus to manage all development from task assignment, recording, QA, publishing and analytics. While previous projects required a full time content manager, this time was reduced over 75%, allowing her to continue to focus on business-as-usual tasks.
At first, I felt Opus might be a threat to job security because it did in minutes what took me days before. In fact, its productivity freed up time that I needed for other important initiatives.
