Opus Output Types
Opus generates a wide variety of digital adoption outputs needed before go-live on the project and after go-live to support effective user adoption.
Adding Value to Digital Transformations:
Opus Output Types used Post Go-Live
for in-application user help and guidance
|OPUS OUTPUT TYPES USED POST GO-LIVE
In-application guide that suggests help and guidance the user needs based on role, department, language and application
|In-Application Walk Throughs
Guides users step-by-step through the live application
|In-Application Simulations (also available for MP4 download)
User watches and listens to a “movie” of the application process
User practices by following instructions prompts and performing the actions, all in a safe simulated environment
User performs the process with minimal guidance in a safe simulated environment and is scored on their results
|In-Application Job Aids (also available for pdf download)
In-application job aid with step-by-step instructions, with or without screenshots, and perfect for “moment of need”
Step-by-step job aid has a header with the purpose, prerequisites and related documents
Same format as Standard but allows authors to have a different header style
Job aid with smaller images, allowing for the step/action instruction to be to the left of the image
|In-Application Digital Books
Organizes related processes into logical groupings or chapters
Live Performance Support
Advisor knows what you need. It knows what application you are in, where in the application you are, your role, your department and even your language. As a result, it targets what help you might need. You pick the help topic and the output type you prefer as shown below. Or if you don’t see what you want, you can search.
The Follow walk through is like an overlay on the live application highlighting each step and providing instruction, allowing the users to perform the task in the live application. The user has controls to move forward, backward, pause or exit Follow me.
The Standard job aid has a header with the purpose, prerequisites and related documents. Step by step screenshots and other images span the width of the page and each step/action instructions can be configured to appear either above or below the screenshot
Same as Standard but allows authors to have a different header style
Same as Standard but images are smaller, allowing for the step/action instruction to be the left of the image
408 compliant pdf download for vision impaired users with a screen reader
Watch and learn as the process plays step by step. User controls at the bottom allow you to pause, skip ahead or back, zoom in or out.
Similar to Demo but the simulation requires the user to perform each step following instruction prompts. Great for hands on experience in a safe simulated environment.
Like Interactive but with less detailed guidance on each step. The user’s performance is tracked and reported with Opus or imported to your LMS or to your xAPI Learning Locker for analysis
Books provide you the ability to organize your Opus content into a training manual or collection. The layout includes Title, Introduction, Sections, Opus Content, and a Conclusion. Example of types of books: Onboarding Manual, Introduction to Company TechStack, Introduction to WorkDay, Accounts Payable Manual, etc.
Opus automatically updates a Book when any document contained within is published or unpublished. This ensures your Book always has the most up-to-date information.

for UAT, Training and Compliance

|User Acceptance Testing Scripts
An integral part of the implementation process is user acceptance testing, which is required before any new, updated or optimized systems can go-live.
Core to this process is the generation of test scripts for every process affected and involves every step in the process. Unlike other methods of creating UAT scripts, Opus generates these scripts easily and quickly, literally in minutes.
Incorporate Opus content into instructor-led trainings (ILTs) and even upload simulations as a SCORM file to utilize in your Learning Management System (LMS).
The Opus Test Simulation is ideal for incorporating into eLearning.
While your LMS can house application help content, Opus Advisor is best for in-application help and guidance. Opus is also xAPI enabled and can export learning activity to your LRS.
Opus Job Aids and Books are used to satisfy compliance requiring application process.
Documentation used for SOX, FDA Validation, ISO, SOC2 and others.
